The county libraries, Birmingham Public and their branches kicked off THE BIG READ. You are encouraged to read to "Kill A Mockingbird", by Harper Lee. Most activities are starting in April and ending the first of May. Pleasant Grove is having a book discussion group on April 2 and 16 with brunch. You can come by and sign up to be a part of this program.

You will need to have the book at least two weeks before we start, so you can read half of the book for the first discussion. Also, look on the web (www.jclc.org) and look
under event, to see what each library in the county is presenting.
