The City Council of the City of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, met in the Conference Room at the Pleasant Grove City Hall, 6:00p.m. for the pre-council meeting with the following present:

 

Mayor:                        Jerry W. Brasseale

Council Members:       William Bullion

                                    James G. Mosley

                                    Paula Johnson

                                    Terrie Hicks

                                    Philip Houston

 

Also present: Attorney Rachel Fleming, Chief Bill Waites, City Clerk Karen Duncan

 

The council discussed general business to be taken care of at the council meeting.

The City Council of the City of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, met in regular session at 7:00p.m. in the Council Chambers with the following present:

 

Mayor:                        Jerry W. Brasseale

                                    Terrie Hicks

                                    Philip Houston

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

 

Mr. Bullion made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 20th. pre-council and regular meeting.

 

Ms. Johnson seconded the motion.

 

Motion passed unanimously.

 

APPROVAL OF BILLS

 

Mr. Mosley made a motion to approve payment of the bills in the amount of $212,244.80 with the high school reimbursing the city in the amount of $38.97.

 

Mr. Bullion seconded the motion.

 

Motion passed unanimously.

Ms. Johnson made a motion to hire Mr. David Roper as public defender for the municipal court.

 

Ms. Hicks seconded the motion.

Concern regarding a pit bull dog.
